What Happened at the April 13th Market?

 Sacred Tree Market - April 13th .
This was the first stall after the expressway was finished. The people still came and most said it was easier and quicker!
We gave the new chalk board a work out.
Our stall in the lovely shade on a Sunny autumn day.
We sadly sold Cocky the metal corrugated iron sculpture but he has gone to a lovely home. He doesn't eat much and requires no looking after.
The herbs went like hot cakes.
People loved finding out about our mozzie repellent and other natural products.
The goat milk soap story was avidly listened to as we explained the goat even has to be milked on Sacred Tree Market Day and Kim had to get up reallllly early!
Lots of people called in to pick up our brochures too!
Some rain come hovering ,but it didn't happen. Always a worry when you have bath fizz around.
Our bees wax furniture polish was sniffed and people were in raptures over the rose geranium essential oil smell ( "it's just like musk sticks!")
 Mothers day gifts were purchased.

More mother's day gifts were purchased.
People got to find out how to use thai herbs in their cooking.

And we had amazing stalls around us too!
 Just love these wooden toys!
And of course who can go past the food at Sacred Tree Market!
Or the drink. This one is watermelon and mint!
Then there were the gluten free scones at the guides stall. And after that , the amazing baklava at the greek stall.

The beautiful authentic cut outs at the Kirkton School Sustainability Stall. Imagine the time it took to make this beautiful work of art.
Kim found a gorgeous beanie at Pleasant View Angora's stall . Love finding hand made items like this!
And Sue's herbals had the foaming hand soap that is used in the farm stay rooms at The Little Black Cow Farm Stay.

After a successful thriving market day , we look forward to the next market. The next market is May 18th, 2014.
Mark it in your calendar now so that you don't miss out.
